Our Team

Steven Rumney (President)
– has over 40 years of experience in the commercial and military microwave business. Initially Steve worked as a design engineer with M/A-COM MPD and General Microwave Corporation and later became Vice President of American Microwave Corporation. He then joined K&L Microwave Corporation as Product Line Manager of Subsystems Products. In 1999 he formed Millennium Microwave Corporation with Daniel Peters. Steven has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York (now part of NYU School of Engineering & Science) and a Master of Business Administration from Wilmington College.
Daniel Peters (Vice President)
– has over 29 years of leadership experience in the RF and Microwave field with both technical and business expertise. Dan was the co-founder of Millennium Microwave with Steven Rumney. Previously, he was with K&L Microwave where he was instrumental in developing, implementing, and launching many Switch Matrix products in both the Mechanical Switch group and later the Solid-State Switch group. Before joining K&L, Dan served as an armor officer in the US Army. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics Microelectronics.
Matthew Catlin (Engineering Manager)
– has over 29 years of experience and expertise in the design and manufacture of RF and Microwave products for both the commercial and the military markets. He is Director of Engineering and has been with Millennium Microwave since 2002. Prior to Millennium Microwave he was involved in engineering and production at K&L Microwave and Salisbury Engineering. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Old Dominion University.
Ralph Newberry (Business Development)
– has over 36 years in the military and commercial Microwave and RF Filter and sub-system markets. He held multiple material and sales positions with Salisbury Engineering (now API), K-L Microwave, Lorch Microwave and Millennium Microwave. Ralph has extensive experience with the military markets. He has in depth knowledge of the current Defense Electronics market with prime and sub-prime contractors. As Business Development for Millennium Microwave Corporation, Ralph is responsible for locating and establishing new business and product opportunities. He holds an Associate Degree in Electronics technology.
